I am a type A personality which may have had something to do with me developing endo. Let me tell you a little more, according to wiki:
Type A individuals can be described as impatient, time-conscious, controlling, concerned about their status, highly competitive, ambitious, business-like, aggressive, having difficulty relaxing; and are sometimes disliked by individuals with Type B personalities for the way that they're always rushing. They are often high-achieving workaholics who multi-task, drive themselves with deadlines, and are unhappy about delays. Because of these characteristics, Type A individuals are often described as "stress junkies."
Type B individuals, in contrast, are described as patient, relaxed, and easy-going, generally lacking an overriding sense of urgency. Because of these characteristics, Type B individuals are often described by Type As as apathetic and disengaged. There is also a Type AB mixed profile for people who cannot be clearly categorized.
There is a high correlation between endometriosis and stress according to my fertility specialist. Visit my fertility clinic's website: www.medfem.co.za. Apparently stress has an impact on the immune system and, in my case, my compromised immune system is impacting on the quality of my mucus and, in turn, killing off my husband's soldiers. What i still dont understand is if stress is sudden taken out of the equation whether fertility (and thereby mucus) will improve over time, or whether the damage is done. Does anyone have any answers?

The fertility journey
Who would have thought that something so natural and taken-for-granted as having a child would cause so much stress! I was diagnosed with Endo level II back in march and had a lapro to remove it. A few weeks later we went for a second post coital test and my mucus was still hostile enough to kill off my husband poor boys once again. Due to various factors we decided to scrap the injections that try to improve the mucus, and decided to go directly to IVF (my biological clock it ticking and endo starts comming back after around 1 year). So I am now on Lurin injections once a day! Watch this space ...
